📝 Why Use Project Revisions?

Working on complex design projects often requires experimenting with multiple content variations, refining details, and preparing them for commercial documentation. Project revisions in Flameplace let you manage these variations efficiently without impacting your main project structure.

How to Create a Revision

  1. Open the project’s interaction menu (︙) in the top right.

  2. Select Create project revision.

  3. Confirm the action.

The new revision will appear in the right-side panel as a separate level in the project structure.

🛠️ Working with Revisions

  • Any changes made in a revision will not affect other revisions.

  • This is ideal for working on different design options or updating materials while keeping your base project intact.

📄 Commercial Documentation

If proformas or other commercial documents have already been created for the previous revision, they remain valid and won’t require recalculation unless commercial segments are different in the new revision.

🗑️ Deleting Revisions

You can delete a revision at any time via the interaction menu in the right-side panel.

💎 Benefits:

✅ Organize multiple content versions under one project.
✅ Efficiently manage feedback and adjustments without disrupting the main structure.
✅ Prepare different project options to share with clients and stakeholders.
