🧱 Portfolio Structure Basics

Every portfolio on Flameplace is organized into three key levels:

  1. Project – The main case or job (e.g. "Townhouse in Milan")

  2. Room – A section of the project (e.g. "Living Room", "Dining Room")

  3. Images and Notes – Visuals and descriptions tied to each room

This structure helps viewers easily navigate your work and understand its scope and quality.

🏗️ Step 1: Create a New Project

To get started:

  1. Click Create Portfolio Project

  2. Enter the Project name (e.g. "Townhouse in Milan")

  3. Choose the Project type (Villa, Apartment, Hotel, etc.)

  4. Add a Project description that gives context and key design elements

  5. Add Tags (e.g. Furniture, Lighting, Textiles) to improve visibility and search

  6. Click Save

Your new project now appears in the Portfolio Editor and can be expanded anytime.

🛋️ Step 2: Add Rooms to Your Project

Each project can include multiple rooms:

  1. Click Create a Room within the project view

  2. Name the room (e.g. "Dining Room", "Bedroom")

  3. Click Save

You can create as many rooms as needed to reflect the structure of the real project.

🖼️ Step 3: Upload Images and Add Notes

  1. Select a room

  2. Click the + button to upload one or more images

  3. Use JPEG or PNG files (max size: 10MB)

  4. Add Descriptions below each image to explain:

    • Materials or color palette

    • Furniture and brands used

    • Lighting concept or layout decisions

    • Any other context that helps the image tell a story

The more detail you provide, the easier it is for potential clients to appreciate your work.

📝 Pro tip: Treat each image like a slide in a case study — aim for clarity, quality, and professionalism.
