🧩 Chat Types: Corporate vs. Personal

Flameplace Messenger supports two main types of conversations:

🏢 Corporate Chats

These chats are automatically created when one company interacts with another through:

  • Partner relationship requests

  • Project invitations

  • Requests for proformas or packing lists

All team members from both companies can write in these chats. They include interactive system messages and cannot be deleted. These chats serve as a record of all intercompany activities and are visible to all employees in both organizations — regardless of their plan level.

👤 Personal Chats

These are one-on-one conversations initiated from the company profile page of an employee who has made themselves available for messaging.

  • Only visible to the participants

  • Available only to users with PLUS plans or higher

🛠 Messaging Tools and Features

Messenger includes several features to enhance communication:

  • File sharing — Attach and send documents, images, and files

  • Auto-translation (PLUS plans and above) — Translate messages instantly between languages so you can chat in your native language

  • Chat filters — Quickly sort conversations by company role

  • Search — Find chats or participants by name or company

⚙️ Chat Management Options

Hover over any chat in the sidebar to access the interaction menu. From there you can:

  • 🔕 Mute — Turn off notifications for that chat

  • 🚫 Block — Block the user or company

  • 🗑️ Delete — Remove the chat from your view (it remains available to your counterpart)

💡 Why It Matters

Messenger was built as a modern alternative to email, offering a single hub to store your company’s communication history safely and securely. Whether you're sharing specs or forming a partnership, Messenger keeps everything accessible, organized, and in one place.
